Hallo friends and family!
No long time no hear, no see, no talk!!
It has been over a month that i am gone, yet sometimes it fels like a year and others like a few days!
Coming to Kenya has been an experience of a lifetime for me. I have seen, learned and explored so much in that time that i really feel lucky and blessed to have expreinced it.
I am so sorry i havent written in all this time; there is simply no internet in mandera or even electricity.
Now i am in Nairobi and that is possible, but even here the connection is slow.
I have so much to share with you all, so much to say and and so much to show. Right now i am only saying hi. Next time i write more and show pictures.

I'm happy for you and your experience in Kenya will be useful not only for your field research project but you'll be able to translaate it into more concrete actions to improve that kind of circumstances (lack of access to electricity, telecommunication means and even to clean water) so rife in anno 2006 in the African rural areas or even cities!!

Dank je wel voor je uitnodig. Jij mis ons enorme. Onze Nederland zon schijnt nog, altijd boven de 30 graden, de bergen worden nog steeds groter, de dijken bestaan niet meer, wij geven meer dan een koekje, niemand vraag hoeveel aardappelen zal jij eten, we hebben geen honden, geen katten meer, Frans is nu verplicht overal…… “lachen”
Met mij gaat het prima.Wil jij deze uitdrukking onthouden?
