ASC,
I am sending you many warm "yaka yaka" greetings from Qardho, the town where i have been working extensively the past 3 weeks!
It is amazing how quick time flies when you are busy or having fun!
I am working with Garwodo, a local women's NGO in Qardho. The staff is incredibly friendly and highly motivated who are ready to move miles and stones with little or or no support.
I am honoured to have met such wonderfull people who are driven my pure motivation and personal wilpower to help others for no or little in return. This is how the development steering wheel and momentum should be in my opinion!
People should not be motivated by fat salaries nor fancy benefits but by the spirit of giving and sharing!
More soon...
love,light and laughter!
Sahriee

Hi Sahra,
Amazing to read your positive and breathtaking reports about Somalia (my home country). I came across your website/weblog rather by chance, but this will not be my last visit!. By the way I have been in that area of Somalia (Qardho and Garowe) long ago as a child (twenty odd years ago). All I can remember are the names of the places. To see the pictures you shot and read your positive stories especially about courageous women is simply magnificent.
Keep up the good work I would say.
